Jolanda Bos
is an archaeologist and dress anthropologist. She studies ancient Egyptian hairstyles from Tell el-Amarna as part of her PhD research. Jolanda’s other fields comprise archaeological beadwork studies, contemporary costume and personal adornment. Jolanda worked at several excavations in Egypt as well as on exhibitions and is the author of several books (‘Paint it, Black’ and ‘Egypt’s Wearable Heritage’). She is also the driving force behind the Wearable Heritage website and social media pages.
