  • Mennat-Allah El Dorry is an Egyptologist specialized in archaeobotanical analysis. Much of her research has revolved around food and reconstructing how people in the past cooked, ate, and the role of food in their social and religious lives. She has held postdoctoral and research fellow positions in Leon, Brussels, Berlin and Cairo, and has also worked for 15 years in the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities.
